Armed Forces Day 2025

The team had an amazing time supporting Isle of Wight Armed Forces Day yesterday, despite the heat!

It was fantastic talking to lots of the people and veterans attending and enjoying the day.

We were busy with our search 4 x 4 on the beach helping set up, managing & removing the Red Arrows & Battle of Britain Memorial flight exclusion zone cordon, as well as other support duties including moving a Cannon on & off the beach!

We enjoyed meeting and working with the REACT volunteers and the local Crown Park team during the set up and on the day.

The roof of our Incident Support Vehicle provided a key vantage point for the organisers, Red 10 and the RAF Falcons Parachute Display team commentator.

Thanks to everyone who came to talk to us and for making us feel so welcome.
