Ultra Challenge- Isle of Wight
What a privilege it was for the WightSAR team to support the Ultra Challenge - Isle of Wight this weekend, including overnight for the full 106 kilometres continuous challenge.
Despite tired legs and depleted energy, competitors were asking us if we “were ok” on the cold and windy coastal paths! We even got offered chocolate bars and met a running Rhino!
Whichever option you choose, whether you finished or not, everyone who took part was a winner in our eyes. The resilience and sheer determination we witnessed was humbling. Well done everyone from the WightSAR Team.
